Educational events – Attend CE classes each year, including a Lunch & Learn in the spring and a 1-hour class before our Summer Spectacular in August.

Social events – these present opportunities to deepen existing relationships and form new ones and each other. Facetime is valuable, and our LA chapter facilitates both regular encounters and genuine friendships.

Our social events typically include a creative or charitable event in February (past events have included wine tasting, scotch tasting, a clothing drive, a blood drive, a night out at a comedy club, and others), our Summer Spectacular Happy Hour on the rooftop at The Standard DTLA in August, and our Annual Meeting at The Magic Castle in Hollywood in December.

Annual I-Day Convention – each March, we partner with the San Fernando Valley and Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena chapters to plan and host a major insurance convention and tradeshow in the Greater Los Angeles area. This event typically includes both charitable and educational components as well as networking with 80+ exhibitors, a great speaker, lunch and a cocktail hour.

We’re able to come together to share market knowledge including data on mergers & acquisitions on the retail, wholesale AND carrier sides of the equation, combat disruptors, liaise with the state and national associations, and strategize when problems arise that threaten our firms and our industry.
